Code 42. ODD (Oppositional Defiance Disorder). Kathryn constantly acts out, often in sexually suggestive ways. Her mild dyslexia exacerbates her usual refusal to try. She lives with her mother. Her home environment is extremely unstable.

Not Coded. Kevin is extremely bright, but his refusal to do any work and his tendency to distract/intimidate others make his presence in mainstream classes unfair to others. Kevin’s father is deceased and his mother is in psychiatric care. He lives with his paternal grandparents.
Code 42. Generalized anxiety disorder. Toni tends to internalize her anxiety, but as she feels more out of control and vulnerable, she tends to lash out. Toni lives with her mother and father.
An old-school principal. Practical, efficient and suspicious of self-esteem. Her BS detector is always on high alert.
Shae's girlfriend, a driven and pragmatic web designer. She’s hard working, creative and empathetic (from a distance).
Vice principal and resident Machiavellian ladder-climber and bootlicker. She wants to advance, and if she has to be a treacherous chameleon to do it, so be it.
